MOBILE INTERCONNECTION FEES TO BE EQUALISED GRADUALLY

Elisa and other mobile operators have agreed on new interconnection fees for
2007-2008. The operators have also agreed on the calculation principles for the
fees for 2009-2010. During this transition period, the interconnection fees
will be equalised, which has been Elisa's goal. The changes are also in line
with the views of the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority. 

Elisa will lower its interconnection fees gradually. From 1 January 2007, the
new interconnection fee is 7.0 cents per minute and in 2008, 5.1 cents per
minute. From 2008 onwards Elisa will apply equal rates with TeliaSonera. From 1
January 2009, the difference in rates between Elisa and DNA will be 0.5 cents
per minute and from 1 December 2009 Elisa will apply equal rates with DNA. The
agreement will replace the previous agreement on interconnection fees between
Elisa and TeliaSonera on 1 January 2007. 

Elisa's outlook for 2007 and mid-term financial targets remain unchanged.
