Ukio Bankas AB - Notification on material event

Preliminary, unaudited result of AB Ukio bankas group for the financial year 2007

Unaudited net profit of AB Ukio bankas group for the year 2007 is LTL 75.4
million (EUR 21.8 million) - i.e. by 73 per cent more than in 2006. In 2007,
net profit of AB Ukio bankas group was by LTL 7.1 million (EUR 2.1 million)
lower than bank's unaudited unconsolidated profit of LTL 82.5 million (EUR 23.9
million), mainly because of the subsidiaries expenses related to the financing
of investment to real estate in Moscow project.
