Changes in the board of directors of the Housing Financing Fund

As of last weekend the Chairman of the Board of the Housing Financing Fund,
Katrín Ólafsdóttir, has resigned from the board as she will be joining the
Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Iceland. Katrín has been the
Chairman of the Board since the 1st of January 2011. Her successor has not been
appointed yet by the Minister of Welfare but in the meantime the Deputy
Chairman of the Board, Sjöfn Ingólfdóttir, will be acting chairman. 



The Housing Financing Fund and the Board of Directors want to thank Katrín
Ólafsdóttir for her good work for the fund.
