Íslandsbanki hf. - Financial Statement Release

Islandsbanki hf. : 2Q2012 interim financial results published Thursday 30 August 2012

Íslandsbanki will publish its 2Q2012 consolidated interim financial results
before market opening on 30 August 2012. Later that day, Birna Einarsdóttir, CEO
of Íslandsbanki, and Jón Guðni Ómarsson, CFO, will present the 2Q2012 financial
results to market participants, followed by a Q&A session.

The meeting starts at 4pm and will be conducted in Icelandic.
