Resignation of Chief Operation Officer

Petroleum (OMX: FO-ATLA) announces that Sigurð í Jákupsstovu has given notice
of his resignation from the position as Chief Operating Officer with Atlantic
Petroleum, with effect from 1st September 2011. 



Sigurð í Jákupsstovu has decided to pursue a new job opportunity.
