CHANGES IN KEMIRA'S MANAGEMENT

(Stock Exchange Release)

Pekka Ojanpää has been appointed President of Kemira Water business
area as of February 6, 2008. Mr. Ojanpää is currently working as
President of Kemira Specialty. Mats Jungar who has been leading
Kemira Water will be responsible for planning and implementation of
Kemira Water's customer segment based strategy and organisation
together with Pekka Ojanpää.

Hannu Virolainen has been appointed President of Kemira Specialty
business area as of February 6, 2008. Mr. Virolainen has been
responsible for Specialty Fertilizer business that was left to Kemira
during separation of Kemira GrowHow.

Jyrki Mäki-Kala continues his work as President of Kemira Pulp&Paper
and Visa Pekkarinen continues his work as President of Kemira
Coatings.

Helena Tammi, Executive Vice President, Human Resources will leave
the company to pursue career options outside Kemira.

Johan Grön has been appointed Executive Vice President, Technology as
of July 1, 2008. He is currently working as Vice President,
Technology in Kemira Pulp&Paper. Hannu Toivonen will continue his
work as Executive Vice President, Technology until July 1, 2008 when
he will retire.

Matti Nenonen has been appointed Executive Vice President, Strategy
as of February 6, 2008.
Mr. Nenonen will be responsible for strategy process but also
Kemira's production asset management and environment, health, safety
and quality (EHSQ). Matti Nenonen will join Kemira from his current
position as Senior Consultant in Jaakko Pöyry Oyj.

Esa Tirkkonen, CFO and deputy to CEO will be responsible for
treasury, finance, information technology, mergers and acquisitions.

Jukka Hakkila, Group Chief Counsel will be responsible for legal
affairs, internal audit and risk management.

Hannu Melarti has been appointed group wide Region Head for North
America, Hilton Casas de Almeida has been appointed group wide Region
Head for Latin America and Ronald Kwan has been appointed group wide
Region Head for Asia Pacific. Currently they all hold operative
positions within Kemira.

Kemira's management consists of two management boards: Business
Management Board concentrates on business steering and it includes
Harri Kerminen, Esa Tirkkonen, Jyrki Mäki-Kala, Pekka Ojanpää and
Hannu Virolainen. Strategic Management Board concentrates on
strategic issues and it includes members of the Business Management
Board, the above mentioned Region Heads and Petri Boman, responsible
for Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Management; Jukka Hakkila, Group
General Councel, Timo Leppä, responsible for Group Communications,
Matti Nenonen, responsible for Group planning and Hannu Toivonen,
responsible for Group Technology.
