DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Ruukki Group Plc ("Ruukki" or the "Company") (LSE: RKKI, OMX: RUG1V) Ruukki
regrets to announce that Mr. Philip Baum has informed the Company that he
resigns from his position in the Board of Directors ("Board") to pursue other
interests. The Board wishes him well and thanks him for his valued contribution
to the Board since the Company's listing in London Stock Exchange in 2010.

Therefore, as of today the Board consist of the following members: Dr. Jelena
Manojlovic, Dr. Danko Koncar, Mr. Markku Kankaala, Dr. Chris Pointon, Mr. Paul
Everard, Mr. Barry Rourke and Mr. Thomas Hoyer. Dr. Jelena Manojlovic continues
as the Chairman of the Board.
