Outokumpu appoints Michael Williams President and Head of Business Area Coil Americas, joins Outokumpu Leadership Team

Outokumpu today announced the appointment of Michael Williams as the President
and Head of Business Area Coil Americas and member of the Outokumpu Leadership
Team as of July 1, 2015. Williams has over two decades of experience in the
metals industry, including sixteen years at US Steel where he held a number of
senior leadership positions, as well as the position of the CEO in Ormet
Corporation, an aluminum company. 

Said Mika Seitovirta, Outokumpu CEO: “Michael is a strong leader who has a
proven ability to enforce strategic focus and disciplined execution, and
turning businesses back to profitability. He has a deep understanding of the
market and long relationship with many of our key customers in the United
States. His strong business acumen and customer focus combined with in-depth
expertise in operations are exactly what is needed to get Coil Americas back on
track and lead the business forward.”

market with modern, state-of-the art mills in Calvert, Alabama and San Luis

Jose Ramon Salas who has been the interim head of Coil Americas will resume his
position as the Head of Mexinox.
