CHANGE OF NAME: RUUKKI GROUP RENAMED AFARAK GROUP

Further  to the  announcement of  5 July 2013 Ruukki  Group Plc  (the "Company")
(LSE:  RKKI, OMX: RUG1V) announces, effective  today, the Company's new name has
been  registered in the Finnish Trade  Register and consequently the Company has
changed its name to Afarak Group Plc.

Effective  19 July 2013, the  Company's NASDAQ  OMX Helsinki Tradable Instrument
Display  Mnemonic  ("TIDM")  will  change  from  RUG1V to AFAGR and London Stock
Exchange  TIDM  will  change  from  RKKI.L  to AFRK.L. The Company's shares will
continue  to be  traded on  the NASDAQ  OMX Helsinki  and the Main Market of the
London  Stock Exchange  and its  ISIN and  SEDOL numbers, being FI0009800098 and
B28LN87 respectively, will remain unchanged.
