50,000 Metsä Board’s A-shares converted into B-shares

Metsä Board Corporation Stock Exchange Release 1 Febuary 2013 at 10.00 am EET

In accordance with Section 14 of the Articles of Association of Metsä Board
Corporation, 50 000 A-shares have been converted into 50,000 B-shares. The
conversion has been entered into the Trade Register on 1 February 2013 and the
trading with these shares commences on 4 February 2013. 

The total number of Metsä Board's shares is 328,165,612. After the conversion
the amount of A-shares is 36,289,550 which entitle to 71 per cent of the voting
rights in Metsä Board and the amount of B-shares is 291,876,062 which entitle
to 29 of the voting rights.
