Pursuant to Chapter 9, Section 2 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act we
inform that Sampo plc’s (Business ID 0142213-3) share of Aktia Bank plc’s
(Business ID 2181702-8) shares has decreased to less than 5% on 16 March 2017. 

Following the transaction on 16 March 2017 Sampo plc owns a total of 3,284,518
shares and 3,284,518 voting rights in Aktia Bank plc. Thus Sampo plc now holds
4.93 (5.73) % of Aktia Bank plc's share capital and 0.74 (0.86) % of voting
rights.
