to the previous year.

In the building and home improvement trade, sales in November were

currencies. In the Baltic countries, sales were down by 40.7%. In

terms of local currency.

In the car and machinery trade, VV-Auto's sales in November were
€45.6 million, down 0.7%. The sales performance was affected by the
car tax act which came into force in April, because of which car tax
levied on cars after 1 April 2009 is not included in sales figures.
The passenger cars imported by VV-Auto accounted for 17.1% (17.6%) of
new registrations. Konekesko's sales in November were €29.0 million,
down 30.1%. Sales decreased by 19.6% in Finland and by 37.1% in
foreign countries as a result of the weakened machinery market and
the downsizing of the Baltic agricultural trade.
