Solteq to provide Tokmanni Group a new Point of Sale (POS) system

Solteq will deliver its largest ever store system solution

Solteq Oyj has agreed to deliver a new store system to the Tokmanni
Group. The system to be delivered is the TP.net store system, which
is based on Wincor Nixdorf's existing solutions and it will be rolled
out in all of Tokmanni's stores. The contract is valued at around EUR
2.5m and it is the largest single contract Solteq has ever signed
since the company was founded 25 years ago. In addition, an agreement
has been reached on the provisioning of speech recognition equipment
to the upcoming logistics centre in Mäntsälä.

Solteq is delivering a full turn-key solution, which covers the POS
systems, installation, roll-out, maintenance and user training. The
first stage of the contract covers 133 stores and 600 cash registers.
Tokmanni Group employs some 2700 personnel and most of them will use
the new system. The system's design work will start straight away and
the first pilot system will be delivered to Tokmanni in January 2008."Working together with Tokmanni further strengthens our positions as

be recovered in full through our cash registers. This is why the
importance of a reliable store system solution cannot be
over-estimated. In addition to reliability, a heavy consideration was
