Moody s upgraded Metso s credit rating to Baa2

Moody's Investors service has upgraded the long-term rating of Metso
Corporation to Baa2 from Baa3. The rating outlook is considered
stable.

Metso is a global engineering and technology corporation with 2006
net sales of approximately EUR 5 billion. Its more than 26,000
