KONECRANES PLC - CHANGES IN KONECRANES GROUP EXECUTIVE BOARD

Sirpa Poitsalo (b. 1963), Vice President, General Counsel, has been appointed a
member of the Konecranes Group Executive Board and will report to Panu Routila,
President & CEO. Sirpa Poitsalo has worked at Konecranes since 1988 and has
been a member of the Group Senior Management. 

The Group Executive Board consists of the following members:
