SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE SIX NEW TURBOS

SOCIETE GENERALE 		STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 16 MAY 2007
	
SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE SIX NEW TURBOS. THE ISSUE INCLUDES TURBOS ON 
DAX INDEX, EUR/USD FX RATE AND NASDAQ 100 INDEX.

Societe Generale, one of the leading issuers of covered warrants 
worldwide, issues a total of six new European Turbo warrants on the 
Helsinki Stock Exchange (HEX). The Turbos will be subject to public 
trading on the HEX Exchange List as of 21 May 2007.

The underlying assets of the Turbos will be DAX Index, EUR/USD Fx rate
and Nasdaq 100 Index. The issue includes two Long Turbos and four Short 
Turbos.

The Turbos will be issued under the Societe Generale warrant program. 
The Listing Particulars of the warrant program consisting of the Base 
Prospectus, the Supplements approved by the Finnish Financial Supervision 
Authority 19 February 2007, 21 November 2006 and 3 October 2006 and the 
Final Terms relating to the Turbos to be issued are available as of 16  
May 2007 at the Societe Generale website at www.sglistedproducts.fi,
at the office of the HEX (OMX way) at Fabianinkatu 14, Helsinki and at   
the office of the Paying agent at Nordea Bank Finland Plc at Aleksis  
Kiven katu 3-5, Helsinki.
