OKMETIC'S PERSONNEL NEGOTIATIONS CONCLUDED

OKMETIC'S PERSONNEL NEGOTIATIONS CONCLUDED

Okmetic's personnel negotiations concerning its operations in
Finland, which began on 2 September 2009, have been concluded.

The number of permanent reductions of clerical workers is 22
employees, of which 19 in Finland. Four of these Finnish clerical
workers will be offered manual work tasks. In Finland, 23 manual
workers will be temporarily laid off until further notice. Okmetic
will assist in the re-employment of persons facing redundancy in
Finland. Support will include training programme.

These actions will result in savings of over a million euro annually.
The effect of the savings will be noticeable as of the beginning of
2010. As a result, the restructuring cost of around 450.000 euro will
be expensed in 2009.

At the end of August Okmetic employed 340 people. 134 of the
personnel were clerical workers and 206 manual workers.
