Merger of Subsidiary

SOLTEQ PLC     STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT 1.10.2007

The boards of directors of Solteq Plc and Artekus Oy have decided
Artekus to merge with its parent company Solteq according the merger
plan as informed earlier 30.5.2007. The implementation of the merger
was entered into Finnish Trade register 1.10.2007.
