A special representative has been elected for arbitration process relating to redemption of Nordic Aluminium Plc’s minority shares

States. 

Nordic Aluminium has today at 09.45 received the following notification from Oy
Lival Ab: 


”A SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ELECTED FOR ARBITRATION PROCESS RELATING TO
REDEMPTION OF NORDIC ALUMINIUM PLC'S SHARES 

The Redemption Committee of the Central Chamber of Commerce has, upon Oy Lival
Ab's application requested the district court of Länsi-Uudenmaa to nominate a
special representative to look after the interest of Nordic Aluminium Plc's
minority shareholders in the arbitration process. 

Attorney-at-law Jouko Huhtala has been elected as the special representative.
The decision shall become legally valid on 24 October 2012, unless an appeal is
made relating to the decision. 

The special representative has a right and obligation, on behalf of the
minority shareholders, to present facts and evidence supporting the interest of
the minority shareholders in the arbitration process. The special
representative does not have authorization, on behalf of the minority
shareholders, to present or accept demands relating to the redemption or to
initiate actions which conflict with the actions of the minority shareholders.
