Invitation to a briefing and teleconference

Vacon Plc, Stock Exchange Announcement, 28 July 2010 at 3:00 p.m.:

Vacon will publish its Interim Report January - June 2010 on Wednesday, 4
August, 2010 at 9.30 a.m. Finnish time.

A briefing for the financial analysts and media will be held on the same day at
Scandic Simonkenttä, address Simonkatu 9, 00100 Helsinki, at 11:30 a.m. Finnish
time (9:30 UK time). Please inform IR Johanna Koskinen of your participation no
later than Monday 2 August at 4 p.m.

A telephone conference for financial analysts and investors, conducted in
English, will begin at 3:00 p.m. Finnish time (EET). Conference call
participants are requested to call in a few minutes prior to the start of
