Sanoma completes the acquisition of SBS TV operations in Belgium

Sanoma announced the acquisition of SBS free-to-air TV assets in the Netherlands
and Belgium from ProSiebenSat.1 on 20 April 2011. The acquisition of the Belgian
operations has been closed today.

Sanoma will report its share of the result of the Belgian TV operations in the
'Share of results in associated companies' line in its consolidated income
statement.

The acquisition of the Dutch activities is still subject to the approval of the
Netherlands Competition Authority (NMa). This approval is expected during the
summer.
