Invitation to a briefing and teleconference

Vacon Plc, Stock Exchange Announcement, 2 February 2009 at 11:00
a.m.:

Vacon will publish its Financial Statement for the year 2008 on
Thursday, 5 February, 2009 at 9.00 a.m. Finnish time.

A briefing for the financial analysts and media will be held on the
same day in Helsinki, Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel, Mikonkatu 23, at
11:30 a.m. Finnish time (9:30 UK time). Please inform IR Johanna
Koskinen of your participation no later than 3 February at 4 p.m.

A telephone conference for financial analysts and investors,
conducted in English, will begin at 3:00 p.m. Finnish time (EET).
