DISCLOSURE UNDER CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10 OF THE SECURITIES MARKET ACT

GEOSENTRIC OYJ STOCK EXHCHANGE RELEASE May 20, 2010 at 10.00                    


DISCLOSURE UNDER CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10 OF THE SECURITIES MARKET ACT             

GeoSentric Oyj has received a disclosure under chapter 2, section 9 of the      
Securities Market Act regarding a change in holdings.                           

Schroder Investment Management Limited (registered in the UK under the          
registration number 1893220, “Schroder”) holds as an asset manager for its      
clients altogether 109,294,444 GeoSentric Oyj's shares, which corresponds to    
12.17 % of the registered amount of shares and votes and accordingly exceeds the
threshold of 1/10. Of Schroder's individual clients ANSA Mc AL Limited          
(registered in Trinidad and Tobago under the registration number 1024426)       
together with the entities controlled by it (“ANSA Group”) hold together        
93,377,779 shares corresponding to 10.40 % of the current registered share      
amount and voting rights and thus exceeding the threshold of 1/10. ANSA Group's 
holdings are included in the share and vote amounts of Schroder stated above.   

In addition, Schroder has subscribed for GeoSentric's Convertible Bond Loan     
2008-B in October 2008. Conversion of the notes into GeoSentric shares could    
increase Schroder's clients' total holding to 203,364,066 shares, which         
corresponds to 20.52 % of the shares and votes after the conversion and         
accordingly exceeds the threshold of 1/5. As a result of conversions ANSA       
Group's holdings could increase to at maximum 124,226,835 shares, which         
corresponds to 12.52% of the outstanding shares and votes after the conversion. 
ANSA Group's holdings are included in the share and vote amounts of Schroder    
stated above.                                                                   

Schroder has also subscribed for convertible bond loan issued by GeoSentric's   
Dutch subsidiary GeoSolutions Holdings N.V. in November 2009. According to terms
of the loan the conversion can alternatively be made into the shares of         
GeoSentric. The exact conversion rate has not yet been defined. It is estimated 
that as a result of conversions Schroder's clients' total holdings could exceed 
the 3/10 threshold of outstanding shares and votes after the conversion.        

As of the date of this release the registered shares amount of GeoSentric Oyj is
897,926,354 and share capital EUR 8,950,961.65.
