RUUKKI GROUP PLC'S FINANCIAL REPORTING AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IN 2009       

During the year 2009 Ruukki Group Plc will publish the financial information as 
follows:                                                                        
- Financial Statement Bulletin 2008 will be published on Thursday 26 February   
2009                                                                            

- Annual Report 2008 will be published during week 12 in March 2009             

- Interim Report for January - March 2009 will be published on Thursday 7 May   
2009                                                                      

- Interim Report for January - June 2009 will be published on Thursday 6 August 
2009                                                                            

- Interim Report for January - September 2009 will be published on Thursday 5   
November 2009                                                                   

The Annual General Meeting of the company is preliminarily scheduled to be held 
on Friday 27 March 2009. The Board of Directors will give a separate notice of  
General Meeting later.                                                          

The financial information of the company is published in Finnish and in English.
