Shares subscribed with the Outokumpu Oyj 2003A and 2003B stock options and the increase in share capital

March 13, at 9.30 a.m.


Between January 3, 2008 and February 29, 2008 a total of 11 955
shares have been subscribed for with the 2003A stock options
(FI0009629133) and between January 3, 2008 and February 29, 2008 a
total of 10 187 shares have been subscribed for with the 2003B stock
options (FI0009633671). As a result of the share subscriptions the
share capital of Outokumpu Oyj has increased by EUR 37 641.40.

The increase in share capital has been entered into the Finnish trade
register on March 13, 2008 and the subscribed shares will be listed
on the OMX Nordic Exchange Helsinki and trading will commence along
with the old shares as of March 14, 2008.

The next filing of increase in share capital into the trade register
