VST AB - Notification on material event

Information regarding the decision adopted by the National Control Commission for Prices and Energy

National Control Commission for Prices and Energy during the session held on
November 29th, 2008 made a decision to set ex-parte the rules for electricity
prices, tariffs and their application for VST, AB for the year 2009 and to
publish them (more information can be found on the Commission's web page
http://www.regula.lt). 

The VST, AB informs, that regarding the decision adopted by the National
Control Commission for Prices and Energy, VST, AB forecast that the company may
incur losses for the year 2009. VST, AB the information regarding particular
results of the company will provide in the due course of the year. A notice
regarding particular information shall be announced according the requirements
for publication of such information.
