Changes in Pöyry PLC's Group Executive Committee and Head of the Water & Environment business group

PÖYRY PLC          Company Announcement 12 January 2010 at 2.30 p.m.

The member of the Pöyry Group's Executive Committee and President of the Water &
Environment business group, Mr Bernd Kordes, will leave Pöyry to join another
company. Mr Kordes's membership in the Group Executive Committee has ended
today.

Mr Kordes will carry on his duties as President of the Water & Environment
business group as well as acting President of the Management Consulting business
group over a transition period. The recruiting process to find a successor has
been started.

Bernd Kordes joined Pöyry in 2005 when GKW Group, a German consulting
engineering firm in the water sector, joined Pöyry. Bernd Kordes has played a
key role in various leading positions at Pöyry.
