PÖYRY SPECIFIES ITS 2007 EARNINGS ESTIMATE

Pöyry Plc specifies its profit before taxes estimate for the first
quarter of 2007 and for the year 2007. The profit before taxes for
the first quarter will improve clearly compared to the corresponding
period last year and will exceed EUR 16 million. The improvement
comes from the better than estimated operating profits of the Energy
and Forest Industry business groups.

Due to the exceptionally good earnings at the beginning of the year,
the company raises its earnings estimate for the year 2007. The
profit before taxes is expected to improve clearly in 2007. According
to Pöyry's previous guidance the profit before taxes was expected to
improve in 2007.

Pöyry Plc will publish its first-quarter 2007 results on Thursday,
April 26, 2007 at 8.30 a.m. Finnish time.
