DISCLOSURE OF CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP OF MARIMEKKO CORPORATION PURSUANT TO THE      
SECURITIES MARKETS ACT, CHAPTER 2, PARAGRAPH 10                                 

Pursuant to the Securities Markets Act, Chapter 2, Paragraph 10, Marimekko      
Corporation (Business Identity Code 0111316-2) announces that it has been       
informed today that the combined share of Marimekko Corporation's share capital 
and voting rights held by the entities managed by Credit Suisse Group AG has    
exceeded 1/20, i.e. increased to 5.60% as a result of transaction concluded on  
20 April 2010.                                                                  

According to the disclosure, the share of Marimekko Corporation's share capital 
held by the entities managed by Credit Suisse Group AG after the transaction is
