In Paris – Recognition for kefir and cheese spread of Vilkyškių pieninė AB


In Paris, in the international food innovation exhibition SIAL 2014, which is
the most important event of this kind in the world, Vilkyškių pieninė AB was
among the most innovative companies of food industry in the world. 

Professional jury of contest SIAL Innovation selected even two products made by
Vilkyškiai out of more than 1500 participants! Vilkyškių pieninė AB, which is
known in foreign markets with the trademark Vilvi, was evaluated for kefir in
330 g package and cheese spreads, which recently were introduced to Lithuanian
market. 

Kefir innovation enthralled the members of jury because Lithuanian producer was
able to modernize traditional product, to present it to consumers innovatively
in the originally designed convenient package. 

Cheese spreads were recognized for palette of tastes and attractiveness of
package. This spring Vilkyškių pieninė AB offered to Lithuanian consumers
cheese spreads of three tastes - maasdam, mozzarella and cioccolato. 

Director General of Vilkyškių pieninė AB says that participation in the
pavilion of “SIAL Innovation” is not only honorable assessment, but also
excellent opportunity to expand the network of partners. Pavilion of “SIAL
Innovation” is considered perhaps as the most important part of the exhibition. 

The first SIAL exhibition took place in 1964 and this year it celebrates its
50th anniversary.
