Klaipedos Nafta AB - Notification on material event

Regarding the published information on proposed LNG prices


On 10 December 2012, the media published notices stating that, according to
unofficial sources, potential gas suppliers propose to Lithuania, which is
building the Liquefied Natural Gas (hereinafter, LNG) Terminal in Klaipėda,
approximately 20 per cent cheaper natural gas than gas currently imported by
the state from the sole gas supplier - the Russian gas concern Gazprom. 

Klaipėdos Nafta AB (hereinafter, the Company) which is implementing the LNG
Terminal Project and performing LNG procurement notes that the Company is bound
by confidentiality obligations and thus will not comment on the information
related to LNG procurement, including possible proposed prices and
participating persons. 

The Company points out that the information published in the press is hearsay,
which the investors should not be guided by. 

The LNG pricing will become known to the Company only after the completion of
negotiations on material LNG acquisition conditions with the suppliers
participating in procurement procedures and conclusion of respective legally
binding agreement.
