SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE SEVEN NEW TURBOS AND EIGHT NEW COVERED WARRANTS.

SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE SEVEN NEW TURBOS AND EIGHT NEW COVERED WARRANTS. 
THE ISSUE INCLUDES TURBOS AND WARRANTS ON THE DAX INDEX, THE FORTUM PLC 
SHARE, THE NOKIA PLC SHARE, GOLD AND BRENT CRUDE OIL FUTURES.

Societe Generale, one of the leading issuers of covered warrants worldwide, 
issues a total of seven new European Turbo warrants and eight new European 
warrants on the Helsinki Stock Exchange (HEX). The Turbos and warrants will 
be subject to public trading on the HEX Exchange List as of 17 December 2008.

The underlying assets of the Turbos will be the DAX index, the Fortum Plc 
share and the Nokia Plc share and the underlying assets of the warrants will 
be Gold and Brent Crude Oil future. The issue includes five Long Turbos, two 
Short Turbos, four Call warrants and four Put warrants

The Turbos and warrants will be issued under the Societe Generale warrant 
program. The Listing Particulars of the warrant program approved by the 
Finnish Financial Supervision Authority on 22 July 2008 and consisting of 
the Base Prospectus, the Supplements approved by the Finnish Financial 
Supervision Authority on 27 August 2008 and 18 November 2008 and the Final 
Terms relating to the Turbos and warrants to be issued are available as of 
16 December 2008 at the Societe Generale website at www.sglistedproducts.fi, 
at the office of the HEX at Fabianinkatu 14, Helsinki and at the office of 
the Paying agent at Nordea Bank Finland Plc at Aleksis Kiven katu 3-5, Helsinki.
