AB “Linas” Group of companies preliminary not audited activity results of year 2008

AB “Linas” Group of companies sales incomes of year 2008 made 45.2 mln Lt (13.1
mln EUR). Incomes of year 2007 were 64.0 mln Lt (18.5 mln EUR). Actual sales
incomes of year 2008 is 18.8 mln Lt (5.1 mln. EUR) or 29.4%  lower in
comparison with incomes of year 2007. 

	The loss of year 2008 before taxation - 15.7 mln Lt (4.5 mln EUR), the profit
of year 2007 - 0.7 mln Lt (0.2 mln EUR). After the specification in the
financial reports the losses of granted loans for bankrupted subsidiary company
“Lino audiniai”, preliminary loss of year 2008 before taxation is larger than
the planned was 2.7 mln Lt (0.8 mln EUR). 

	In 2008 export volumes of AB “Linas” Group of companies made 86% production
sales and in 2007 there were exported 93% production. The export volumes
decreased because of decreased usage of textile items in foreign markets during
world economic crisis. 

	AB “Linas” didn't invest into obtaining and renovation of technological
equipment in 2008.
