Annual General Meeting date revised

The  date for  Össur´s Annual  General Meeting  has been  revised due  to recent
amendments  to the  Icelandic Companies  Act No.  2/1995, implementing directive
2007/36/EC on   the  exercise  of  certain  rights  of  shareholders  in  listed
companies.

The revised date for the Annual General Meeting is Tuesday 9 March 2010.

The  convocation  will  be  issued  no  later  than  Tuesday  16 February 2010.
Shareholders will have the right to put items on the agenda and submit proposals
until the final agenda and proposals are issued Tuesday 2 March 2010.
