Larox to Supply Filters to Kazakhstan and China                                 

LAPPEENRANTA, FINLAND - July 2, 2007 - Larox have agreed in June two major      
filter deliveries to a chromite pellet plant in Kazakhstan and a pharmaceutical 
company in China. Total value of the deliveries is approximately 5.5 million    
euros and includes several units of Ceramec Capillary Action Disc Filters and   
large size Larox PF Automatic Pressure Filters. Deliveries will take place      
during the first half of 2008.                                                  

The delivery of Ceramec filters to Kazakhstan will be part of Outotec Oyj's     
project with OAO TNK Kazchrome to design and deliver the second chromite pellet 
plant for Kazchrome's Donskoy chrome mine. The new pellet plant, together with  
Outotec's earlier delivery of a similar plant in 2005, will be the world's      
largest production unit for chromite pellets. The new production plant is       
expected to become operational in mid-2009 and is expected to produce 1,400,000 
tonnes per year of chromite pellets.                                            

A big Chinese penicillin producer will install large size Larox PF filters to   
their penicillin-G manufacturing process. Larox filters are expected to improve 
product quality and decrease plant's environmental impact.                      

The agreed deliveries strengthen further Larox's position as one of the world's 
leading filtration solution providers for the mining, metallurgical and chemical
process industries.
