Atlantic Petroleum UK Limited to acquire additional equity in the Perth discovery

Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, 2011-01-14 10:49 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- P/F Atlantic
Petroleum (OMX: FO-ATLA) announces that Atlantic Petroleum UK Limited the
Company's wholly owned subsidiary has today signed an agreement with Nexen
Petroleum U.K. Limited to acquire an additional 4.18139% equity share in the
Perth discovery. 

Completion of the agreement is subject to receipt of all required waivers,
consents and approvals. 

Atlantic Petroleum UK Limited currently owns a 6.61765% interest in the Perth
discovery.
