Changes in Fortum's Leadership Team: Nora Steiner-Forsberg and Eveliina Dahl to leave Fortum

FORTUM CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 28 JUNE 2024 AT 09.00 EEST

Release category: Changes board/management/auditors

Nora Steiner-Forsberg, Executive Vice President, Legal, General Counsel, and
Eveliina Dahl, Executive Vice President, People and Procurement, will leave
Fortum latest at the end of 2024 to take positions in other companies.

“Nora and Eveliina have both played an integral part in building what Fortum is
today: one of the cleanest energy generators in Europe. They have supported us
with their very competent teams to steer the company successfully through
unprecedented turmoil in our operating environment, and as part of the
Leadership Team, they have overseen the company's significant structural
changes. I know them both as highly capable and experienced leaders. Due to
their excellent contribution, Fortum is now on a really solid ground. I want to
express my sincere gratitude for both and I wish them all the best in their
future endeavors,” says Markus Rauramo, President and CEO of Fortum.

“With a solid financial position and highly competitive fleet we continue to
implement our strategy determinedly with a focus on delivering clean energy and
driving decarbonisation in industries,” Rauramo continues.

The recruitment of Nora Steiner-Forsberg's and Eveliina Dahl's successors will
start immediately.
