Eik Banki P/F to Commence Negotiations with SDC Regarding Future IT Cooperation

In stock exchange announcement no 13/2008 of 26 June 2008, Eik Banki P/F
announced the signing of a Letter of Intent with IT provider Bankernes EDB
Central (BEC) regarding future cooperation, entailing that BEC would be the Eik
Banki Group's primary IT provider. 

Following the negotiations between the two parties, however, it is clear that
the preconditions no longer are present. 

Consequently, Eik Banki has decided to resume negotiations with Skandinavisk
Data Center (SDC) regarding a future IT cooperation.
