Lietuvos Energija AB - Notification on material event

The National Control Commission for Prices and Energy has set the price cap for the electricity transmission service and has resolved to validate the prices and tariffs of Lietuvos Energij

The National Control Commission for Prices and Energy (NCCPE) at the meeting
convened on 31 October 2008 set the price cap of 12.23 LTc/kWh for the
electricity transmission service for the year 2009 and resolved to validate the
prices and tariffs of electricity transmission service as well as the procedure
for their application, which had been approved by the Resolution of Lietuvos
Energija AB Board passed on 23 October 2008. 
Starting from 1 January 2009, the price charged by the Transmission System
Operator for the electricity transmission service will be 3.45 LTc/kWh (VAT
excluded), for the capacity reservation service - 1.42 LTc/kWh (VAT excluded),
and for the public service obligations - 6.77 LTc/kWh (VAT excluded).
