Elisa - Company Announcement

ELISA S OWNERSHIP OF COMPTEL DECREASED TO 13.4 PER CENT

Elisa has sold 7,000,000 Comptel Corporation shares on the Helsinki
Stock Exchange. Elisa's holding in Comptel has decreased from 19.9
per cent to 13.4 per cent.

The sale price was EUR 13.2 million, of which EUR 13.1 million is
tax-free capital gain. Capital gain will be reported as a
non-recurring item.
