Subscription for Kesko Corporation B shares with stock options

KESKO CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE NOTIFICATION 03.02.2009 AT 15.00

In January total of 16,196 and in December total of 10,000 (stock
exchange notification 2 January 2009) new Kesko Corporation B shares
were subscribed for with the stock options marked with symbol 2003E
in Kesko Corporation's 2003 stock option scheme after the last
increase in share capital. The corresponding increase, total of
26,196 in share capital will be entered in the Trade Register on 11
February 2009.

In January total of 16,196 new B shares were subscribed for with
Kesko Corporation's year 2003 stock options marked with symbol 2003E.
In accordance with the terms and conditions of the stock option
scheme, the subscription price of the shares with stock options
marked with symbol 2003E is €8.99 per share.

The terms and conditions of the year 2003 stock option scheme were
published in a stock exchange release on 31 March 2003.
