TIINA VARTIAINEN TO CORPORATE VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES, AT SALCOMP       

Mr. Niilo Oksa, Salcomp's current Corporate Vice President, Human Resources,    
will retire during 2010, and Ms Tiina Vartiainen has been appointed Corporate   
Vice President, Human Resources, and Member of the Global Management Team at    
Salcomp Plc as of 1 January 2011.                                               

Tiina Vartiainen has previously worked in human resources management and        
development positions in different companies, such as Nokia Corporation and most
recently in Nokia Siemens Networks. She will report to Mr. Markku Hangasjärvi,  
President and CEO.
