Stora Enso Oyj has on 5 January 2016 received an announcement under Chapter 9,
Section 10 of the Securities Markets Act, according to which BlackRock Inc.'s
indirect holding in Stora Enso shares has increased over the threshold of 5% on
4 January 2016.
The shareholding of BlackRock, Inc. in Stora Enso has increased to 34,907,080
shares, corresponding to 4.36% of Stora Enso’s shares. The total number of
Stora Enso shares owned directly or through financial instruments by BlackRock,
Inc. and its funds was 5.06% on 4 January 2016. The share of voting rights
remains under 5%. The holdings of BlackRock Inc. have been calculated according
to Stora Enso’s registered number of shares of 788 619 987 and number of votes
237 718 379.
