Kimmo Alkio starts as Tieto's President and CEO and resigns from the Board of Directors

TIETO CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 1 November 2011 at 8.00 am EET

Kimmo Alkio starts as Tieto Corporation's President and CEO today, 1 November
2011. According to good corporate governance practice, he will at the same time
resign from Tieto's Board of Directors. 

Ari Karppinen, who has been working as the acting President and CEO since 28
April 2011, will resume his previous position as Executive Vice President,
Operations and Managed services and transformation Business Line.
