On 5 March 2014, Finnair Plc. received flagging notification from Skagen AS
pursuant to Chapter 9 Section 5 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act concerning
shares in Finnair Plc.

As a result of sale of shares made on 5 March 2014, funds managed by Skagen AS
now hold 7,419,573 shares, equivalent to 5.79% of all shares and votes (more
than 5%).

Finnair Plc. has a total of 128,136,115 shares and votes. The Company has one
share series, each share entitling to one vote.
