Changes in Fortum Corporation’s Management Team

STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 29 November 2011 at 11.00 EET 

Maria Paatero-Kaarnakari, Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and
Research & Development at Fortum Corporation, will leave her current position
to be appointed as Senior Vice President, Fortum Asia, as of 1 February 2012.
In her new position, Maria Paatero-Kaarnakari's main responsibility is to
initiate and develop a future growth platform for Fortum in India. She will be
placed in Delhi. With this change Maria Paatero-Kaarnakari will leave Fortum
Management Team. She will continue to report to Tapio Kuula, President and CEO
of Fortum Corporation. 

Anne Brunila, Executive Vice President, Corporate Relations and Sustainability,
will also take the responsibility of Corporate Strategy as of 1 January 2012
and her title will be Executive Vice President, Corporate Relations and
Strategy. 

Per Langer, Executive Vice President, Heat Division, will take the
responsibility of Corporate Research and Development and Innovation as of 1
January 2012.
