Financial results for Q3 2009

Marel Food Systems hf. invites market participants and investors to a meeting
where the company's consolidated financial statement for Q3 2009 will be
presented. 

The results will be presented by Theo Hoen, CEO, Erik Kaman, CFO, and Sigsteinn
Gretarsson, Managing Director of Marel ehf. 

The presentation will be held on Wednesday, 4 November, at 8:30 a.m., at the
company's headquarters, Austurhraun 9, Gardabaer. 

Breakfast will be served from 8:00.
