SCANFIL PLC LISTED ON NASDAQ OMX HELSINKI                                       



The extraordinary general meeting of Sievi Capital plc held on 22 November 2011 
approved the demerger plan signed by the company's Board of Directors on 11     
August 2011. According to demerger plan the assets and liabilities connected    
with the company's contract manufacturing and other industrial operations were  
transferred as a result of the partial demerger to new Scanfil plc. Sievi       
Capital plc's shareholders shall receive one (1) share of Scanfil plc against   
each Sievi Capital plc's share in their ownership, by way of consideration for  
the demerger.                                                                   



The implementation of the demerger has been entered in the Trade Register on 1  
January 2012, and the shares in Scanfil plc have been entered in the            
shareholders' book-entry accounts. Trading in Scanfil plc shares will commence  
on the stock exchange list of the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Stock Exchange today, 2   
January 2012. The trading code of the shares is SCL1V.
