CHANGES IN MANAGEMENT POSITIONS AT YIT CORPORATION

Due to Arne Malonæs' long-term sick-leave, Matti Malmberg (51), M.Sc. (Eng.),
has been, for the present, appointed head of the Building Services Northern
Europe business segment and member of the Group's Management Board. Malmberg
will report to Juhani Pitkäkoski, CEO of YIT Corporation. Malmberg joined YIT
Group in 1985, and he is currently Senior Vice President in charge of Building
Systems Finland, Russia and the Baltic countries. 

Jarno Hacklin (32), B.Sc.(Tech.), was appointed, for the present, responsible
for YIT's Building System Services in Finland, Russia and the Baltic Countries.
Hacklin reports to Matti Malmberg. Hacklin joined YIT in 2001, and he is
currently Director of the Building Solutions Business Group of Building System
Services in Finland. 

In addition, Janne Järvinen (40), BBA was appointed Purchasing Director of the
Group. Järvinen reports to Juhani Pitkäkoski, President and CEO. Järvinen
joined YIT in 2009, and he is currently Purchasing Director of Construction
Services Finland business segment. The appointment will support YIT's objective
of improving cost efficiency by developing procurement operations.
