Talvivaara Mining Company Plc Announces Changes in Dates of Financial Reporting for 2009

Talvivaara Mining Company Plc (the "Company") previously announced it
would release a Half Yearly Interim Report and an Interim  Management
Statement on 31 August 2009 and  28 October 2009, respectively. As  a
consequence of its listing  in Helsinki in May  2009, the Company  is
now required to issue financial reports quarterly and will  therefore
release results on the following dates:
-                 Half Yearly Interim Report for the period ending 30
June 2009 on Thursday 27 August 2009
-                 Quarterly Interim Report  for the period ending  30
September 2009 on Wednesday 11 November 2009
